The truth about EHR Stimulus and (not) CCHIT Print
CCHIT (Certification Commission for Health Information Technology) offers certification processes to improve Healthcare IT applications e.g. for ambulatory care. These “old” certifications have no value for the EHR Stimulus (like some vendors like to make customers believe). The real criteria for the stimulus program have been published on December 31st, 2009 and are different to the CCHIT Ambulatory Care requirements.
